Sources explains where Greece Hoy information comes from and whether each module was able to check its origins. It is a transparency page: it helps distinguish a successful collection, an unchanged source, an old source or an access error in the latest run.
Collection OK means the automation could review the configured sources. Source unchanged means there was no new content or no active records. Old source warns that the main source has not changed for longer than expected. Collection error points to a block, format change or temporary failure.
Not every dataset needs the same cadence. Weather, wind, airports, ferries, strikes, earthquakes and alerts can be reviewed several times a day. Wildfires combine a daily map with more frequent alerts. Monuments, safety and transfers are more stable catalogues.
If a source fails, Greece Hoy shows an access problem instead of filling gaps with false information. For critical decisions, each module keeps links to the official source or operator. This text remains visible in the HTML so any traveller, browser or search engine can understand the purpose of “Source status, frequency and reliability” even if dynamic data takes longer to load. It also strengthens internal links between related modules: sources for origin checks, alerts for risk prioritization and the home page for the wider Greece today overview. The final recommendation is intentionally cautious: use this page as context, open the linked source when your plan depends on it and leave margin when a trip combines ferry, flight, road, timed tickets or local services.
