Greece has frequent seismic activity and most small events do not change a trip. This page highlights recent earthquakes that may have practical relevance for travellers, ordered by date, magnitude, depth and region. The goal is context, not prediction or improvised scientific interpretation.
A minor event is usually just context. Intermediate magnitudes may be felt locally and are worth checking if you are nearby. Higher events require official confirmation, especially if they affect transport, ports, airports or tourist areas.
USGS is used as the primary source because it provides a public and stable API; EMSC remains a European contrast source to complement local coverage. Greece Hoy normalizes names, regions and levels for travellers, but it does not replace geological institutes or civil protection.
If you feel a strong tremor, move away from facades, follow local instructions, avoid rumours and check official sources. For normal travel planning, use the map to locate recent activity and the list to understand whether something happened near your route, island or airport.
